These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lecture to Notes web application and related services (“Services”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Lecture to Notes web app. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.   • You retain ownership of audio recordings, notes, and other content (“User Content”) you submit to the Services.
  • By submitting User Content, you grant Lecture to Notes a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and use such content solely for providing and improving the Services.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and process User Content through the Services.

Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Services may require payment of fees, available through app store subscriptions or in-app purchases.

  • All fees are disclosed before purchase and processed securely by third-party payment providers.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with the terms of the app store.
  • We do not provide refunds except where required by law or the app store’s policies.

Intellectual Property

PolarNotes AI and its Services (including software, design, branding, and content excluding User Content) are owned by us or our licensors. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Services.

Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or engage in conduct harmful to Lecture to Notes or its users.

Disclaimers

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free functionality, or that results generated (e.g., summaries, quizzes) will meet your requirements.
  • We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability
